Gemma Loves Marketing Rebrand
Gemma Gibbard is a freelance marketing consultant who had been running her business for four years when she came to me for a rebrand. Starting out lean and testing the waters, Gemma's original brand had done its job - but as her business evolved and she began to niche into a specific area of marketing, it was clear the brand no longer reflected where she was headed. It was time for an identity that could grow with her.
The Challenge
Gemma knew her business had moved on but wasn't entirely sure how to articulate what she wanted the new brand to say. The challenge was to dig beneath the surface - understanding not just what Gemma does, but who she is, who she serves, and what makes her different - and then translate all of that into a visual identity that felt completely her. The new brand needed to work harder, feel more intentional, and speak directly to her niche audience.
The Solution
Using my brand questionnaire and discovery process, I helped Gemma get clear on her direction before a single design was created. From there I developed a full brand identity including a primary logo, sub mark and a brand style guide covering colours, typography and usage guidelines. The result is a cohesive, distinctive identity that reflects Gemma's personality and positions her confidently within her niche - something her original DIY brand simply couldn't do.
The Impact
The impact was immediate and personal. Gemma described having her mind blown by the outcome, feeling genuinely motivated and excited to move her business forward - and proud to share her new branding. That kind of response is exactly what great brand identity design should deliver. When your brand truly reflects who you are and what you do, showing up consistently becomes effortless.
"The process that Bhavini uses absolutely nailed it, producing exactly what I needed and I am completely in love with my new brand identity. My mind has been blown by the outcome."
