MK Act provides the recruitment and training of a city-wide network of Domestic Abuse Champions, which is funded by Milton Keynes City Council (who also support with raising awareness and recruitment of champions to the network). The branding project was about creating an identity for the network, for the Domestic Abuse Champions who take on the responsibility of volunteering to be part of the network and giving them a way to demonstrate that commitment and responsibility.
Bringing the project together, with the two organisations and two brands working together, it felt right that there needed to be an easily recognisable logo and identity which works alongside each organisation’s own branding, but making sure the Domestic Abuse Champions belongs to the champions and to the city.
